What is Congress up to?
Posted in Political Viewpoints on January 29th, 2007With the Democratic controlled Congress’s first hundred hours coming to a close it’s time for them to start honoring their commitment for bipartisan efforts. Nancy Pelosi has said that her congress shall work together with Republicans for the good of the country. So far we haven’t seen any of that what we’ve seen is the Democrats pushing through what they want to get through.
Some Republicans are actually starting to rumble now they’re saying that they don’t even get a chance to see what’s going on. I’m sure some of you are thinking that what goes around comes around, and the Republicans actually deserve to be left out a political process at this point. I don’t think that is best for our country and I am sure many of you think the same way.
Our country is pretty evenly divided between Democratic and Republic view points - and there is room in the political process for both paths to find some common ground. It’s time that ALL OF US , stand up and make our wants known. Our main thing is to just get things done!
